Apex Cor20 As A Closed Loop Pump

I’ve purchased an Apex COR 20 to use as a Closed Loop pump. What do you think will be better suited to it ? 2 x 25mm Tank returns ? Or 2 x 32mm Tank Returns ?
And is anyone using this as a closed loop pump.

They say in their product description to plumb with 32mm (1.25") to get the full potential from the pump.
