Are there any corals you dont need to dose for?

zoanthids, mushrooms, soft corals

Any of the soft corals, but beware that they can spread like the plague. I find that to be especially true of zoanthids, palythoas, and the tree-like softies like the aptly named Kenya Tree.

I don't dose a thing and have over 20 different types of coral ranging from softies to SPS. My 5% weekly water change is all I need.

I also have over 40 corals in a mixed reef and do not dose at all. If you are willing to keep up with water changes (and you don't have a ton of SPS corals), you can get away without dosing. I change roughly 15% weekly.
