Any experience with a 'Tee Eliminator' ?

I've been searching for a more serviceable alternative for the rubber uniseal.
I've always wondered about these Tee Eliminators sold by Aquatic Eco.

Does anyone have any hands-on experience with these? Or do you know who actually manufactures them?
Would they work well in Schedule 40 PVC pipe?

They claim they're made of "flexible PVC". Is that like the SpaFlex type material? Can they be glued in the pipe hole?

I would appreciate any helpful info.

I bought some from there since they were cheap, but haven't used them yet.
They are really hard plastic almost rubber feeling though. I don't know if they can be glued to pvc.
The idea is similar to a uniseal except they are threaded.
