I have a number 1 and 2 in a forty gallon tank. Do I need to create a barrier or something to put around the pump or since they are not very strong will they be OK? thanks for the help
yes currently with two uncovered k3's but i've a sebae anemone which lives in the sand and doesn't move much.
i wouldn't do the same with bta's which are likely wander at some point especially when they divide.
you can cover koralia's with egg shaped plastic needlepoint canvas. they also make a globe which can be mixed and matched with the egg.
when i kept rbta's i used aquaclear ph's/hagen quick filters sans filter sleeve however that predated hydor koralia's.
I think you can buy a cross stitch egg thing from the fabric store to create a gaurd. Someone pipe in and tell them what i mean, its been discussed here b4. I have 1 koreila 4 in my 55 and my nem found it once, now i have like 3 or 4.
I had a rbta in my 55 which had not moved since I first put it in there, over a years time. I came home one day to a cloudy tank, no nem, and a few tentacles floating around the tank.
i have heard of womens pantyhose. i have an RBTA in a 90 with a K4. i have also heard of people turning off the power heads until the nem finds a spot that it likes, and after they see that its not moving they turn the power head back on
Problem with turning off the PHs is that the nem will settle based on light and flow. When you the PHs back on, flow will change and the nem will move again.
