Any fish that glow?

I just picked up a lemon peel and his blues around his outter fins, gills and eyes glow under my LED Blue lights. Simply beautiful. Any other fish known for this that I could possibly add in a 55 reef? Only mates are a gramma, ocellaris, and the small angel.

This effect from the blue is caused by a type of crystal that the fish incorporate into their coloration the name of which eludes me at the moment. It is quite common in reef fish however, almost difficult to avoid. many of the angels have some of it, especially as outlines on the fins like on your yellowpeel. My Majestic angel has it, Annularis angels do, Niger triggers, Koran angels, etc. Like I said, it's easy to find, and the right lighting makes it beautiful. I find actual sunlight coming in a window gives the best effect. Then there are a few red/orange fish that glow somewhat as well, from a different cause. Flame angels and flame hawkfish being the easiest examples to think of.

or you could buy a flashlight fish and they will flash like glowbugs do in the dark to each other. however they are black fish.

A neon goby would probably glow under LED's.

I haven't bought my lighting yet for my 210g. I was going to use 8 rows of HO T5's, but I'm not sure if they'll have the same glowing effect on fish. Could you combine T5's and blue LED's to get the same effect?

I love dwarf angels and want a lemon peel.

Yes, I highly recommend the lemon peel. When my T5s are off and I have just the blue LED on, his blues glow like a coral. Sadly, he's starting to nip on my Zoas ...errrr

why not some fairy or flasher wrasses? any one will do. when they flash, especially the flashers, their whole body will be filled with bright blue or white, lines or patches etc.

different species will show different flashing colour.

i have a neon dottyback that glows currently. i have had alot of fish that have parts that glow... just cant remember any of the others besides the neon dottyback and the coral beauty angel... abunch of different wrasse i had were the same way.
