Any good LFS in Cerritos?

Thanks tang reefer,

That's actually where I go with my initial setup. I have known them for quite sometimes since I started out the freshwater fish tank. It just a bit further out. The people there are very knowledgeable. They are the ones to told me slow it down whenn I want to buy everything in the beginning. Thanks.

Carson Tropical is at Carson St and Norwalk Cross St. I like it there even if its kinda ghetto =x The guys there are nice and helpful. Good prices.

AeroD79,

Wasn't it a distance for you to travel to Cerritos? Thanks you for your info.

I tried the HK Tropical Fish before. You are right, the mean looking lady is actually nice. I have been there few times. Last time I was there, I saw shark egg. I thought that was cool. Been newbie and don't know much, I ask her if I can put this into my newly established 45Gal tank, she told me yes. I almost brought it. I ended up to told her to put it back after she bagged it since I couldn't image how a shark is going to live in 45 Gal tank.

I did purchase Nudibranch, a very cool looking purple one. After I brought it, and did some research, I found out that these animals can't survive in tank for long time (she told me that she has it and no problem, couple weeks after, I didn't see that in her tank anymore, but perhaps she sold them all). It will also release toxic waste when it died. I ended up to bring it back and return it. She was nice enough to allow me to exchange for something else. The store police did mentioned that there is no return/refund.

I ended up to brought LTA, and bubble coral. I kind of regrate it since my lighting is not good enough. However, they are surving in my tank.

Carson Tropical on the other hand is the one that told me to get fish one at the time. I didn't like that as the newbie. However, I do apprecaite their honesty. I learn a lot from those guys.

I work in Cerritos and have been wondering the same thing....Thanks for the info guys ...Now I have something to do on my lunch break :)
