Any good LFS places near Plainview?

In a few months I will be delivering some custom furniture to a client in Plainview (11083). Is there any LFS near by worth checking out?

In Plainview no. But in my opinion 2 of the best on the island are about 15-20 min in either direction. Tropical Island is East of Plainview in Deer Park. And Aquarium Village is in Westbury about the same amount of time West of Plainview.

I've been to Aquarium Village...Nice store and the people are awesome. Prices are a tad high for some things but thats my opinion.

Tropical island is a bit close to plain view it's like 3 exit away, from LIE exit 48/49 to 51 that's about 15 mins with no traffic

Yes they are I always forget about them and I live around the corner from them. LOL However they always seemed closed. I know a bulk of their business is in maintenance and they help out the "Tanked" guys when they are in NY. Ive been in there a few times the new coral setup is nice and have decent selection on fish. If they are open this would be a closer option to Plainview. They are in Huntington Station
