Any have a flower anemone? I have questions

I bought a florida flower anemone.

It locked into some live rock 6 inches down from my 250watt MH
Will this be ok?

I got it yesterday, and I tried to feed it today
I had some PhytoPlan and ZooPlan

I mixed this in a turkey baster, and plasted some onto the anemones.

It seemed like it ate it, not sure.

I need to order some mysis shrimp...
What do people feed theirs?

it'll need good sized chunky seafood. feed it a couple times a week (krill and silversides work well).

I feed mine silversides once a week, I have 2x250 metal halide for lights .. and of course it gets fed what it catches in the tank, and also the photoplankton etc..

I have 2x250watt also
The bulbs are 10k
It is about 10 inches down from the light.

is this too close?

I need to find where to buy silversides at..

if it doesn't like where you put it, it will just move wherever it wants to in order to get the best conditions. I've had them under OD NO's & MH's and they pretty much stayed put for years.

Here is a pic.
It was rather white, now it has more color.

It has been eating silver sides.
I would really like to get a green one, any problems keeping them close together?

nope, no problem at all. in nature they're frequently found in clusters like ricordea.
