Any idea what these are?

they look like a small swimming version of a bristle worm, and are attracted to light. There are bright red, and bright blue ones. They are about 1/4" on the larger ones. Found them last night while chasing around the gorilla crab.:

Actually, that is a very accurate description of what the look like. I have a pair of pajama cardinals, and the male has been holding eggs,... I have heard their fry are "planktonic", ... I wonder if this is what I am seeing,... they hardly resemble fish though!

Probably your first guess is correct....they look like worms. Some of which do have a free-swimming stage (epitoke) as part of their reproduction. I couldn't tell you the species from the vid but you might get to be a proud papa.......of more worms.

Yay!

Congrats! Its-a-worm!:celeb1: :celeb2: :celeb3:

But on a serious note, hopefully it doesn't end up being a 'bad' kind of worm..
