Any Idea whats going on with my trigger?

I just bought him and skipped QT (Mistake -- I know). I put him in tank, none of my other fish are having any problems, but he is displaying what would maybe look like bruising or something?

Maybe hes scratching? I am not sure. He's eating like a champion. Anything that goes in the tank he devours.

Looks like the starts of a infection or fungal issue possibly? The tail fin looks sort of tattered also looks like the start of Popeye in he one eye in the picture? Any other fish looking sick in the tank

All the other fish in tank are healthy as can be
