I've had these for a while, and they do not reproduce hardly at all. The only thing I've gotten was 1 baby (which is 6"Ø) and a great big mother (dinner plate size) with 2 "mouths". The color is a neon green to the eye the pic is a little off and it has a textured skin like it shows and it's almost a hard feeling mushroom - similar to like a leather coral and it's very "meaty".

Everywhere I've looked on-line I can't find them and the last time I've seen them at the LFS they were high dollar and went fast - about 3 or 4 years ago.
 
They are called Elephant Ear mushrooms!!

I would never get one because they are known to eat fish, and they take up a lot of space.
