I'm brave, go ahead and post the picture

Did you have a seine net?

Because of the weather, I'm glad I couldn't make it. I really want to make it down there. It looks like you still had some fun!

I did get lots done at school though and will have about 22 tanks between 20-70 gallons to fill in about 2 weeks so another seining adventure sounds great! Were there lots of seagrasses there? How deep out and how deep was the grass?

yea we had a seine net 20' but no poles for the ends therefor the stick s we tied to the ends
mine broke after 10 seconds so i guess you could say i got the short end of the stick lol

Use wood closet rods- like you hang clothes on. They sell it at home depot. They are about 1 1/2" thick and last forever. Get 2 pieces about 5' long and tie the string for the bottom right at the bottom so it drags over the bottom tightly. Then lay the net flat and tie the top strings even with the bottom, so that it pulls right. You tilt the poles with bottom out front, just tickleing the ground, and pull fast enough to bag out the net some. Make sure you have enough weight to drag the whole net bottom on the sand, or fish will go under, I always have to add sinkers to it. I use old cast net weights. I also add more floats, but that is up to you.

I am in for the next trip out. I was in Orlando during the last one.... sure would have been more fun at the beach!

gets the experts to set one up... i too would love to go along for the ride. See if you can sweet talk LadyFSU into taking us all out Saturday or Sunday.

I haven't been in a while and am up for it but...word has it red tide is back :( and I want to stay FAR away from that. I'll check it out online tomorrow and see.
