Any issues with adding more live sand?

I'd like to add some of the black live sand to my already established tank. I have a base of like 3 inches. Will effect anything doing so? I do have some soft corals and a few fish.

I would not waste your money on live sand. Just buy dry sand, you already have an established sand bed correct?

Yes. My tank has been up and running for at least 2 years. So just top it off with regular dry sand?

yes thats what I did and I actually got some live last time and had cyano outbreak I dont trust them better to get dry so you know it doesnt have stuff in it
