Any Latezonatus owners?

Ok, thanks. I hear a lot of horror stories regarding brook, blindness, and other infections with Latz. I wonder if it's worth the risk?

If you're not affraid to QT them properly with Copper, Formalin, and Metro and keep them in a species only tank they I would say they are a good fish.
A perfect tank for a pair would be a nice big cube with a large Carpet of Mag anemone.
Their skiddish behavior lends them to get banged up when they dart around which opens them up to infection but other than that they do fine as long as you don't introduce other fish that may carry diseases because the Latz will catch it and they are not a fish that can shake off something like Crypto, brook or velvet on their own.

After the losses in the initial QT period, I have not lost any of mine also (lost 2/5 in QT). Currently have 4 but don't think they are pairing off at all although they kinda tolerate each other in the same tank (2 and 2).

Triggerfish1976, I do not notice much growth out of them, have you?

They are still VERY finicky out of all my clownfish in the collection, just putting a hand/net in the tank cause they to hit the tank and jumping everywhere.... therefore I do not do alot of water change on those systems.

Touch wood, no blindness or anything like that.

Mine actually formed a small group of four fish. They basically excluded the 5th and I ended up losing that one because they would beat it up if it tried to join the group.
One of the four actually got pretty big and is now about 3" and is showing the gold back and blue lips. I am guessing it has become the female because it keeps the other three smaller ones in check. I think I got lucky because they quickly started hosting a BTA that I had and do not wander from it.
