Any Leads On Deep Orange Hammers?

Hey everyone,

Been looking for a deep Orange Hammer for a while now... the normal "orange" hammers are all over the place...

Curious if anyone knows anyone that currently has one?

Thanks!

Actually according to my googling, that second pic is one from Pacific East Aquaculture, one of their new imports. Idk enough about them honestly, but considering they say aquaculture, I'd assume they are growing that sucker out. Maybe shoot them an email/call?

Tried no luck :(

Wow. A true orange colored hammer, assuming there was no photoshop trickery involved.

Most "oranges" I've seen in person are quite underwhelming IMO. They look more like a shade of beige to me, and I'm not color blind!

PEA is a quality seller & they take their photos under T5 and are colors are represented fairly IME. I would snap that one up in a heartbeat if I had the chance, as long as the color was true in person. Any idea what it was selling for?

PEA is also taking pics under Kessil now FWIW. They have an orange wall right now but it does not look that bright.

I did this a for a year two summers ago. The Aussie walls are your best bet, and I lost 10 of 10. Only 1 was the true deep orange, but the others were close. I paid anywhere from 100-$300 per specimen and as stated, they all perished. Stick to branching IMO. A few of my close friends run or own shops and refuse to import walls anymore as receiving a healthy specimen is very tough lately.

I have the same luck with walls. After a few weeks a piece of skeleton will show and then it'll just all fade away. Happened to a big Rainbow Hammer colony last :(

With the way the white background is blown out WHITE on those pics... I dunno how they'd look in person or if they'd stay looking that way. I'd be curious to see if a hobbyist really owns one or if it's another unicorn coral.

I spent tons on them. Most are of peach color, and one was close to the ones posted above but blues would not display the color too well.

I have seen many hammers come in from Indo, aussie, bali, golden, and I have never seen a hammer that orange. If there is such a thing that exists, I would be very interested in its origin or supplier.
