I am interested to know if a United States fishing license is valid for collecting in Puerto Rico? I have had no luck finding the information. I wanted to know if any member that are residing in Puerto Rico at the present can answer this question and point me to a Web source.

Thanks!

Im from PR and Im not sure if yes but if is valid you will only can collect fishes because corals and live rock is completely illegal. I will ask a friend of mine and will let you know.

It looks like your the man needed; your from Cabo Rojo. I grew up in San German and frequently rode my bike to Boqueron y La Parguera. I was thinking about collecting around the Mangrove prop roots and reef rubble areas somewhere along Cabo Rojo, Lajas or Guanica shores.

I would appreciate the information as soon as possible, I might leave for the last week of April.

Diaz, I am from Puerto Rico and I understand that you will need a local license to collect in Puerto Rico. I am sending a link to the law
