any news on the nano streams?

Don't want to create another thread about nano-stream pump so I will just borrow this ..

Have you seen these pumps in action? I'm planning to get couples for my 50G tank (30x18x21). I don't know which model I should get. Tank will be 95% SPS. I have 2-3" of sand.
Second question: How strong is the magnet? The back of my tank is about .5" thick. Will that be a problem?
If you have one in stock, can you post pic of the pump next to the 6000 stream or a MJ1200? That way we get a good idea how small this thing is ..

The holders are for up to 1/2" thick, the 6055 is the ideal. I will try to get a pic tomorrow.

Do you think 2x6045 would be too much? They will be on a timer so only 1 will run at a time.

I'm going to pick up two of the streams for my 46g 36"Wx16.25"Dx20"H and I'm wondering which ones you would recommend. It won't be the 6055s unfortunately and I didn't plan on using a timer. It's a softie/lps tank with a good amount of open sand.

The 6045 covers a 3ft by 18" area and would be my recommendation.

Well, they have to get here first. I am a bit out of the loop now as Mr. Tunze is in China for the CIPS trade show. He did call me this morning though and said production had started and he still believed they would be at least in my warehouse by the end of October still. I won't have any firm info until he is back from China.
