i have a few crevices id like to fill in, they would get some indirect light of course, but nothing from above.........anything nice i could put in there? wondering what i should look for as i have no idea..thanx

Depends on how much light you have...shade from NO fluorescent bulbs will be pretty dark, so I second the sun coral that requires a lot of feeding. Shade from a 400W MH light will still be pretty bright, even for shrooms and such. Feather dusters can also make nice fillers.

i have 8 bulb t-5 54w.................5 aquablue , 11,000 k i believe and 3 blue +..............................about 18" from substrate to bulbs........................

what about the bottom , what are the best corals for there? lobophyllia and brains so far i think?

Zoa's and shrooms can be good candidates for the bottom since the "isolation" effect on the sand/bottom keeps them from spreading over your other corals. Many of the plate corals come in beautiful colors too. Saw a neon orange one at the LFS lately.

just ordered a nice blasto piece, ill post pic when its acclimated, so shade is fine for blasto , your sure? does it spread like zoos?
