Any non toxic wood treatments available

I have a nice stand and canopy that is looking pretty dried out after a couple of years. I have avoided cleaning it with anything commercial (pledge, liquid gold etc..) and have only used a dry cloth. It's thirsty! Any suggestions on something safe to use?

you can use lint oil (I think that was the name)Its an oil used for wood go to hardware store and ask.Its to clean and polish wood it should be safe.It might be called lint seed oil.My wife knows the name but she is a sleep.

I think something that is a pure oil would be fine. I use mineral oil on cutting boards and a wood counter top, but some of the furniture oils should be OK. I'd use a liquid that I spread on with a cloth, and not a spray. :)
