Any of the maxijet mods out now reliable?

I own that one too and if you put them side by side you will see/feel the difference. Frequent cleanings keeps me running for the hills as this will decrease the flow without you knowing. I use it on my freshwater tank where there's no algae or heavy feedings.

Funny, my experience is opposite, but I guess it's dependent upon which MJ and impeller mod you use. I am using an older mod on a MJ900 in my 20g tank and it is appropriately sized. I have the Koralia Evolution 1400 in my 56g tank (30" long) and the fish are knocked the heck over even all the way across the tank. Any stronger and I wouldn't be able to keep the water in. I'm quite pleased needless to say.
