is there any one localy breeding seahorses?

I'm thinking about a change in that direction with my re-start.
thanks,Steve,

Not breeding them (yet), though will be purchasing some in the next month or so from Draco Marine Aquaculture . Check them out. A relatively new captive breeder of seashorses but sounds like a great outfit. Jorge Gomezjurado had a nice presentation at MACNA last year. If you are interested in placing an order with me let me know (FYI Canton is probably an hour drive away from me though).

Caryliss thanks for the offer. Draco marines site is what got me thinking about seahorses. verry cool sounding company.

I kept a pair for a couple of years around 1990. they are verry cool and suprisingly hardy given the right environment. The information avaliable on rc and at seahorses.org and syngnathid.org is at least 10,00000 times better then what was avaliable 15yrs ago.

I told my wife what I was planing. (the sea horses that is) She wants the reef back as it was (- some of the coral warefare). she wants to try breeding clowns. Prior to the crash our clowns were spawing regularly and we were planing to try to rear them after things returned to near normal. (new baby)

she wins so no seahorses
So I guess I'll change my request.
any one looking to sell a pair of false percs? I will be looking for a pair probably late May/early June, pm me If you have a good pair.
Steve,
