Thanks..the lighting is 400w Radium and VHO. I recently added some cree royal blue and I'm loving that.

It is probably 6-8" round.

frag size.....I've had it for at least 3 years and have only fragged it a few times. Although my old tank went through a rough patch so I didnt get much growth in the first year.

Here's ours. About the same size as Darryl's piece, and under the same lightning as well.

This piece seems to need a lot of light. Both of you posted you have them under 400w bulbs. My question is how high in the tank are they? I had one under a 250w pendant pretty low in my tank and it lost it's color on the rim and didn't show much growth while my acros showed great growth.

It really doesnt need much light at all I have the white polyp one that prop-frags has posted. Mine is growing now under 8x54w t5s and on the bottom of a 24" deep tank with the light 12"+\- off to top. I got it as maybe 1/2" frag and grew it to about 3" in 3 months. Cut it in half before I moved tanks and it's probably 4" about 4 months later. I think it's a little slower than some of the encrusting montis but not by much.

Dvanacker- Does yours have green polyps? I like the shape of yours. This coral looks really neat when it plates. Especially if it's getting a lot of water movement.

An inch a month! That's motivating lol

Mine is at the very top just moved it since everyone here has them under 400 or 260 watts

Mine is to on the edge of the lumenarc reflector about mid way down. It's probably getting medium light I would say......

They are all the same tyree undata. When the body gets more green the polyps get more green....when the body is less green the polyps are white. All my corals have deep colors...its not ULN.

Mine looks exactly like this picture from rocky mountian frags and they are selling it as tyree undata.
