Any one have a big colony of a tyree undata?

I have a small frag, but it is growing pretty fast. I have mine low in the tank and it is getting good color, the rims is starting to turn purple. My lighting is 2 250w 20ks.
 
Is there any way to make it greener? More or less light?

Mines green in the middle then that weird tan purple then the purple rim

I've noticed new polyps but not growth guess that's a start tho
 
When I take frags and move them to the frag tank they go more brownish base with whiter polyps for a while...and then the green slowy comes back. So it may be a matter of just time and age. Light strength might play a role too.
 
I think it has to do with the growth rate. The new growth is usually tissue that has the brightest colors. Therefore, if it is happy and growing well, it is going to have brighter colors. How you optimize the growth is another debate.
 
mine was growing faster then anything else in the tank..then my mag got out of whack and it was the first to "give up".. hoping for little bits of it to grow back but I'm doubtful at this point. I had just hit critical mass or so, and it was really starting to move.
