I'm setting up a 60 x 30 x 24 open top (rimless) tank, and want a wavebox. My concern is that without a canopy, the wave could make my family sea-sick (not concerned about myself, of course). I saw the video from the tank in Thailand with 4 waveboxes on it, and his waves aren't to-and-fro like the usual wave, and it seemed much more tolerable to the stomach while, I assume, still suspending detritus off of the substrate. Anyway, I'm curious to get the opinions of those out there who have an open top tank and a wavebox to see how aesthetically pleasing or displeasing the wave is when it's not at all concealed.
Thanks!
