Any open top wavebox users?

I'm setting up a 60 x 30 x 24 open top (rimless) tank, and want a wavebox. My concern is that without a canopy, the wave could make my family sea-sick (not concerned about myself, of course). I saw the video from the tank in Thailand with 4 waveboxes on it, and his waves aren't to-and-fro like the usual wave, and it seemed much more tolerable to the stomach while, I assume, still suspending detritus off of the substrate. Anyway, I'm curious to get the opinions of those out there who have an open top tank and a wavebox to see how aesthetically pleasing or displeasing the wave is when it's not at all concealed.

Thanks!

BTW, if you're reading this too Roger, thanks for your help on the phone today, it was great to speak with you.

Hi Mike,

I do know that it does make some people sea sick, we had that problem at Interzoo when we unveiled it but it mainly is an issue when you stare at the wave for long periods of time. No one through up but lots of people said it made them nautious if they stared at it for a long time.

Thanks for the info, Roger. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to handle the visible wave. I'm just surprised there aren't more open top wavebox users out there (or maybe they're just shy).
