any other wavemakers like SCWD???

i've heard good and bad about the SCWD, but was wondering if there are any similar design options that can be directly mounted to pvc, rather than tubing. the reason i ask is i want to create a wavemaking closed loop for my new 2.5g nano, and didn't want to have to switch between pvc and tubing. if not, is there an easy way to diy one?

on a 2.5g you may not be able to use scwd effectively anyways because such a low flow may not operate it well. A Oceansmotions Squirt would work, 3/4", 4 outlets and no back pressure so you can use whatever flow you want.

you should look in the DIY forum....there is a thread about taping/dieing a scwd so it can be screwed directly into pvc. There is also a photo of a CL that the guy glued the SCWD to the pvc, looks pretty clean.
