Any Pink or yellow SPS?

i got it at the hidden reef in philly during their fall sale at the end of november so about 2 1/2 months and ryan the manager ordered and got it as a yellow milli. so far its encrusting yellow with a white edge at the front of the growth and the growth tips are white than change to yellow pretty quickly.

I have the same exact coral in question and it looks nothing like the one in the link you posted. my vote goes to surhosonai whatever

Acropora ID is a bit subjective IMO....really it doesnt matter to me as long as it looks nice.

i havent taken one yet but i will try this weekend and post it.

I actually have 2 small colonies since i cut it off the piece of concrete blob and it was originally 2 pieces

I agree completely. I'm not saying your wrong. I'm just saying the colony exposed to weaker current looks like thick flat branches with the branchlets sticking up while the one in this thread has the main branch curving up as the tips.

All youyr main branches are sticking out from where it's encrusting. the veron picture looks like all the bottom branches are connected

but they look very similar and it has me almost convinced that you are right. I'm not sure enough to say with certainty that it's a caroliniana yet though

Those things are devolped over time....that veron picture is of the center of what is probably a very large and mature specimen. Also flow rate will also change the growth structure........
