Any place local to get a gate valve?

I ordered one online from savko (i think) about a year ago and it is very hard to turn even after a good cleaning. This is for an adjustment on my skimmer.

I guess I could use a regular ball valve from Home Depot but I think you have better control (smaller adjustments) with the gate valve.

They sell those gate valves at trader horn atleast the one in butler. I bought one online and it is the same brand as the ones at trader horn.

The ball valve forget about it. Ball valves are meant for on/off, no throttling. it can get you by but you will be constantly adjusting it and running over your skimmer. been there done that.

The only pet store is Pets in the park by Sam's club. There is under the sea in cranberry. They have some nice livestock there. What are you looking for?

If you need any macroalgae's I grow them in a 4'x3' refugium and I can give you a good deal on them. If you need any acrylic equipment I have a small fab shop and I'm always building something.

I called trader horn and they do have them, but only the threaded versions. I suppose they make adapters to attach it.

They have thread to slip fittings in the plumbing section at any plumbing supply store.

i am going to start a refugium when I set up my new stand. I made a oversized stand for my 55 and bought new T5s with ice cap ballasts etc.---I am trying to find a good deal on a 90g tank.

do you make tanks?
