Any possible problems with my fish selection?

Hello, im just curious if anyone thinks my tank and fish selection will work. The LFS said my fish and set up was good, but after reading some forums, im not sure. So here is what i have:
36 bow
Lots of Live rock (35lbs) very porous
75gph hob filter
2 powerheads for current
One large red dragon macro algae
One small blue scroll algae
Female blue devil damsel
4 stripe damsel
Yellow tail damsel
Bi color damsel
Maroon clown
Lawn mower blenny
Neon cleaner goby
Coral banded shrimp
Hermits and snail CUP about 5 of each
All fish are 1.5 " or less except the blenny which is 3"
I have a fluval marine 2.0 light
I plan on adding a few easier corals like greenstar polyps and mushrooms.

Any opinions on my set up and fish selection is appreciated

Re Farfromsea: makes me wonder about the CBS now. I had 2 cleaner gobies, but i havent seen the other for a while. I thought it was just somewhere in the rocks.

Oops. Well you can always hope he wasn't eaten. The coral banded shrimp is a nice looking shrimp but the risk is there. I would consider taking him out and trading him in but I guess I'm just more cautious.

Pick one of the above. Your tank is way to small to avoid HUGE problems that will come sooner rather than later. The Maroon will be the winner, and it will also end up being the only fish in your tank. As they mature, the tend to get quite territorial, and IMHO, that 36 is small enough that the entire tank will be claimed by it. The damsels will just kill each other off until there is one, the maroon will take care of that one.

I used to keep African cichlids and i kept the territorial and aggression down by keeping enough of them to make establishing a territory impossible. Would that not work with these fish or is it a bioload issue?

Creating a tank with a lack of territory on purpose is a bad idea for many reasons. The stress would invite disease and would increase aggression, not diminish it.

yes this works for African cichlids, but not for saltwater fish. good logic, but yes bioload would be one reason it would fail, plus different behavior of the fish
