any small frags

does anyone have any real small little frags there willing to sell i want to get some stuff on the frag rack just went out and bought some clay to make frag plugs

also must be willing to meet at aqua world or somewere close to pittsburgh i have baseball all the time and my time scedule is very very very tight but i will be home this weekend so let me know

This is just my opinion but, it's been said over and over again, SLOW DOWN! Don't add anything to your tank until you've eliminated your algae and ich problems.
 
didnt know that applyed to small frags off coral if so i will slow down i really didnt know that a couple smal frags like 1-5 frags would be that big of a deal
 
matt once again your going to get alot of nasty remarks because U WONT LISTEN. take care of your algea and ich problem. after a month or so then add things. your tank hasnt even completely cycled yet and your using TAP water. if you want to put frags and other things in your tank my advice to you would be just throw away 500. in the garbage. you will get the same results...........
 
as of now im seting up a small frag tank next the qt going to use screw in 50/50 power compacts with a aquaclear 20 power head for flow

and buck any kind of frag i threw away the bag for the clay name lol its in a plastic container the lady said its completly organic no heavy meatles not adatives its clay streaight from the hills basicly

The clay may be organic, but may contain organic compounds that would hurt our reefs, like phosphates or silicates, both of which as you know are a no no in a reef.

Dont take a chance, use the tried and true methods we use. Frag plugs you should buy from a store, they need to be cured and for reefs, they can leech harmful products into our reefs as well. Crazy glue gel is another good product. And Aquamend for epoxy putty. All can be found at home depot. Oh and you can use marble tile as a frag disk, also at home depot.

Again, take it slow, and ask before you jump the gun and do damage that might nuke your tank.
 
well ima dig that package out the garbage and return the whole thing your right about the phosphates dont want no more of those on that note were can i buy frag plugs does aqua world sell them so the question is still up any small frags

Setting up a 10 gallon frag tank without it being linked to your display will require you to have a very precise and meticulous regiment to maintain the quality of your water. I strongly suggest skipping the idea all together, waiting a month at minimum, 6 weeks would be better, before adding ANYTHING to your display tank. I know it's hard not to keep adding new stuff, but TRUST ME, just go slow, and enjoy the end of the school year, then dive back in for the summer.
 
Jeff should have them. I have all SPS, so no frags that would last in your tank. Start with some mushrooms.
 
i was going to do small frags of zoa maybe or mushroom since there hardy and cloak thats what im doing im saveing money by time summer comes i plan on buy coral frags and zoa to fill the tank but gonna do it SLOW.
 
i would just skip the frag tank right now... like it was stated above, smaller tanks mean more precise measurements for water chemistry. i would try and get your tank under control before you add anything else. that is what i am trying to do with mine. i learned the hard way and added too much stuff at one time and now i am paying for it. i have algae all over the place and it is hurting some of the corals i really like. i have to blast them off with a turkey baster(sp?) at least once a day. but in a few months everything will balance out and be ok. i advise you do the same thing as me.

i'm sorry man but it is really hard to understand someone when it is one big run on. you are asking for help. at least help us help you. i like the fact that you are active because you do ask good questions. in turn i have learned some things that i probably wouldn't have. i have been all over this forum and if you posted some of the stuff you have in sections that weren't your home town, no one would respond to you or they wouldn't give you good advice.

The truth is Matt, as a teacher I understand IEP's, and the necessity for having them, but a harsh reality of this world is that any of your potential employers won't care about your having an IEP or not. I'm not saying that writing well will be easy for you, but it is very important that you make every attempt to write as well as you possibly can. You owe this to yourself, not to anybody else. As I said, I do understand that some students struggle in a certain subject, but never let that become an excuse for you to accept less than you are capable of. Too often people buy into a lie that somebody tells them in education that they aren't able to achieve something, when the truth of the matter is, while it will require more work, they are capable of the same things as everyone else is. If you typed your writing in word first, and used the spell check, then pasted it in here, it would help you appear to be as intelligent as you actually are, and help you to learn how to spell and write as well as you are able to. Just something to think about.

ive been trying to post a little bit better. but it seems to not be good enough or something. so it actuly discurges me from wanting to post i have about 15 more questions i would like to post ,but afreid of the repercutions of that becouse of my spelling. i know im not dumb or i wouldnt be doing this hobby, or trying to go be a teacher. and yes i know teaching means fixing my spelling ,im trying to me im trying . and im not buying into what the teachers tell me ive actuly tryed to refuse the help. becouse i know i can fix this by myself just needs time. but in the state of pa the only way to get rid of a IEP once you have one is with a parent concent witch my mom is not for .

I should get it in the mail toward the middle of the week. I will include some media too. So it should be enough for several months.

But please read up on the use of GFO, before you use it.
