Any solutions for the Tunze Nano and 1" thick acrylic?

Any news on being able to mount these on more than 1" thick acrylic? I remember asking this months ago, maybe some progress has been made?

When all things fail, you can always glue the clamp onto a mag cleaner designed for 1.5" glass. The nanos are made of ABS plastic, so are most mag cleaners.

You could likely also mount it to the overflow boxes but these were made for smaller tanks and 3/4" is the absolute limit.

yeah, no overflow boxes (well an external one, which makes it even more than 1").

Are there any "hangers?" like the other tunze streams have?

I'd hate to ghettofy something so nice by gluing it to a mag float.

I'm curious why such a high quality company like tunze, doesn't take into account thick acrylic? It's not that uncommon, especially for the huge tanks and the now braceless ones.

I believe the Vortech is coming out with a 1" adapter now too. Comon tunze! This is the only thing keeping me from purchasing the tunze nano streams.

My tank is a 68 gallon with 1" acrylic, 1.25" on the back side. Regular tunze streams would be way too powerful...

These pumps are made for Nano tanks and they generally are not so thick, I am sorry but while we do plan a bigger magnet holder for the full size streams it just is a rare exception to need one for nano streams.
