Any Success stories (Azure Damsels)

Just wanted to know if anyone has any success stories to share of keeping Azure Damsel groups or any other damsel groups for that matter.

Thanks

Wow ... thats awesome. Is there any aggression? How long have you guys had them in there?

If I wanted to keep just a group of azures, How many can I in a 120 gal?
Current stocking - 2 o clowns, 1 yellow tang, 1 blue hippo and 1 diamond watchman goby
Im gonna go all sps

My Blue damsels are 6+ years in the tank.

Most of the others are over 3 years.

Starki are 2 years.

Surge was the last one added at the start of this year. Went in as a gorgeous damsel, and is now my ugliest looking fish. But the girlfriend loves he is more active than her Achilles Tang and won't let me try to catch him.

I should mention in addition to that list of damsels the tank has a total of about 120 fish. So it is a highly active reef community. I think with more fish there is a bit more chaos and a lot less aggression issues.

As for just the classic blue damsels, I have kept those in all my salt tanks for the past 25 years. I think they are still a spectacular fish, and they make sure any excess food is taken care of.

Thank you for responding ... I truly appreciate it ... I'm sold to keeping a group of azures .. I sure Wwould appreciate if u give me a pointer ... in addition to the stocking I mentioned ... how many should I keep in my 120

My various species seem to have spaced themselves every 1.5 to 2 feet apart in the tank.

Just purchased two of them this week. No aggression at all. They even hang out together. The only time they were getting a little be nippy, is when I had both of them together while acclimating them. But now, they are like best friends. They are housed with tangs and other large fish that won't take them being aggressive. I am thinking about picking up another. Their coloring is beautiful. I just hope they start eating my red planaria flat worm problem.
