Any success with multiple Yellow Tangs?

I have 3 Yellows. I got them all at the same time with the same size (3"). I QT all 3 together, and moved them to the DT 7 weeks ago. They are still fighting. One of them is constantly being harassed and confined to one section of the tank.

Will they ever get along, or there isn't any hope?

I have the same 3 of them in 40 gallons breeder for QT. As soon as I introduce them to 375 DT the 2 gang up on the 3rd where she/he got beat up bad and hide in the corner I scooped up by my hand in the sump and back in the QT. After 2 weeks back in the DT tank they still pick on each other but she/ he is fight back. It been 4 months living together now I believe that they are ok with occasional chase. Hope your going to be ok

I introduced 3 about 1.5 years ago, all roughly the same size. There was a bit of quarelling initially, but things settled down pretty quickly. They are now quite a bit larger, still approximately the same size, and while there is a little bit of chasing nothing that is sustained or seems to affect the health of any of them. I feed well, so there isn't a lot of competition for food. My display is 350G and I have more tangs than I probably should (including a similarly sized purple). I know this is not sustainable and I'll likely have to remove some that are getting larger within the year.

My situation is like @Lionfish. Two gangs up on the third. He is a bit smaller. The chase is particularly intense when the light comes on (morning for them), and toward the evening. They are getting bigger and feisty. I saw one few times squaring off with 6" FoxFace and the Naso. I hope they are going to be jackasses.

The aggressive ones are still aggressive. I witnessed them squaring off couple of times with the Naso, the Foxface, and the Longnose. All three were in the tank before them Yellows. How are yours?

My are doing fine just a short chase every now and then but nothing major

Just got my yellow tang and powder blue tang to the point where they are not constantly trying to kill each other. Was quite an experience which I just posted in a thread called Trouble with Tangs. Glad yours are still in the tank. I want to put a couple more tangs in my tank eventually, but since it is a 125, I am a little limited on species.

I don't think you have enough. 5+ probably would've been better so it is harder for the pair to single out one.
