Any suggested NanoCube 24g Upgrades?

The basic upgrade is replacing the stock pump with a maxijet 1200, tossing all the filter media that it came with and using Purigen and Chemi-pure in the back chambers and Filter Floss in the first chamber in place of the sponge.

Just a question...
Why upgrade to the maxijet 1200? Marine Depot shows it rated to 295 gph while the stock pump is 290. What am I missing?

WalMart!!!!! Why do most people on R.C., not all, love WalMart soooooo much. Educate yourselves on what the "real" Walton is all about....................................

Reliability for me. All I trust the stock pump to do is mix my saltwater. The last thing I need is my tank crashing because of a cheapo powerhead.

concur w/colinadam. In addition, the stock pump raises the temps of your water. MJ's run cooler and as colinadam stated, much more reliable.

Isn't it funny that his (myDigitalLife's) brother has 3 reefs and has all the info he needs, lives downstairs from him and yet he has to post here? LOL thanks bro, I can feel the love. BTW the room divider is almost up I'll start cycling it tonight so come downstairs.
