Any trick to getting heater to stay put?

I have the visi therm heaters using the suction cups to hold it in place. Well they always come off. Is there something better I can use to keep them in place?

I have no sump or refugium in my tanks (2 of them). So, they are in plain sight.

zip tie a little piece of rock to them? or maybe not... tie will melt. uhhhh.... ok no ideas.

Put a little bit of silicone on the suction cups.

I have heard of people using a short glass (glass) in their sump and they place the heater in there.

In my old tank with no sump I just stuck in between my liverocks in the back so it couldnt' move. It's still that way to this day.

In my new tank it's in my sump. .

I was thinking maybe, I could use an attachment like for the maxi-jet powerheads that holds the powerhead by attaching it to the top of the tank.....while still using the suction cup for support..
