Any way to get clowns to host a seabe?

I have 2 false percs and I just bought a seabe anemone like a month and a half ago. So far nothing. I have heard like catching them and forcing them, but I not sure how to do it?
Is there anyother ways?

The clowns will host when thier ready. Do not force them.

A clownfish isn't a dog, you can't show it to a nice spot and tell it to stay.
For months and months and months my clowns have had RBTA's and an h. crispa to go into and yet they still host the overflows and returns. I beg, plead, curse, and talk to them to ask them to go into the anemone and they still won't go.

I've read a couple of threads where people have put photos of clowns hosting in anemones, on the tank, and that this "inspired" their clowns to host!

Are they hosting anything else?
We have some false percs and added an H. crispa to the tank a while back. They went straight for it, but we had replaced their torn up coral with the nem. Now they won't leave the thing very often!
If they are hosting something, is it possible to remove it, even temporarily so they see the nem as a good option? Just an idea...

What is your "Sebae's" scientific name. There are a couple of anemones in the genus of Heteractis that go by "Sebae" anemone.

I bough a Heteractis Malu (also called Sebae anemone) and my small male Clarkii hosted it right away. Same thing with my Bluecarpet. My female Clarkii hosted that too. I have noticed that Clarkiis host about anything especially if it starts with "A" and ends with "E."

Yep thats the kind of anemone I have. Its called a Heteractis Malu. Its a good thing it has darkened up. That means its zooxanthellae algae population is increasing. What kind of lighting do you have it under?

Oh btw, the picture of your Sebae is bleached so that means your doing something right for it to come back from a bleached state.

Funny, I was going to say crispa, that's very similar to how mine looked when it came it, only the tentacles on mine weren't quite as long and were a little rounded.
It can be difficult to ID nems when they're stressed and bleached like that. Another great way to get an ID is by posting a picture of the underside - the bumps tell a lot.
