Anybody ever lose a Chevron?

He was introduced and was healthy, but constantly spooked and hiding. He'd eat, but never be out on display. Kind of just lost track of him and about 3 weeks later realized that he just up and fed the scavengers.

My only livestock loss in 5 years and have 2 sep tanks. Couldnt have been a cheapie huh??

Was he QT'ed? One of the best reasons to QT, besides disease, is to identify if you have a "runt", so to speak. Occasionally one will acquire a particularly difficult specimen of a generally non-difficult species. QT allows you to spend the time (often months, IME) getting the fish properly acclimated, eating, etc.
