anybody go to aqua hut today?

Anybody go by today to see what (if anything) came in?

Looking for Red sea sailfin, clown tang, anthias.

i was there 2 days ago, didnt see any of what your looking for. they did have some yellows, hippos, and a mimic tang. bunch of gobies, blennys, mandarins, and 2 flasher wrasse.HTH

RC member Finding Salt has a thread looking to get rid of some fish. I know one is a Sailfin, but I don't know origin.
Les had some nice Anthias, but I saw them a week ago, and only left him two

I was there today. Picked up a gorgeous Flame Angel and some Emerald Crabs. Didnt see any Sailfins, Clown tangs or Anthias

Don had no Dej sailfin expecting red sea any day. He had a bunch of anthias and clown tangs about a week ago, but not today

I got bored and made the trek to the fish triangle today. (aquahut, country critters, suffolk county reef and fish)

Of course same old story, Don got his shipment friday and its all gone, Country critters wanted $150 for a scotty fairy wrasse, and suffolk county $150 for a powder blue).

I did confirm than Don still gets fish orders on Friday (he does) and he said he has been getting great shipments.

I probably shouldnt be sharing my secret, ( I used to make the friday trek twice a month), but we're a club after all.

I did buy an algea scraper cause I spent $25 in gas, had to come home w/ something.

LOL Don does get busy and rightfully so, you get good fish ant half the price. I know it's hard to survive on long island but some of these other stores would do well to lower their prices just a bit. I went to Aquarium Adventures in Carl Place the other day when I was in Nassau and nearly passed out. They had a skimmer for 179 that I paid 79 for.... Something just isn;t right there.
