The ones you buy on ebay are cheap and of a cheap quality too- disposable. I buy mine on ebay, drill a few holes then throw them away. Good quality industrial glass bits are over $100 to buy.
Yes cheap ones work perfectly fine for a few holes. I used one once for 4-5 holes but near the end it was taking forever to drill a hole. I would guess only glass shops or tank builders spend big money on a industrial grade drill bits.
So I was digging through my fish closet and i found a 1½" bit, dont know if its been used or really where it came from but i guess i have one. Lucky Day. Now I just need to get some modeling clay or something I can use to for a dam so i can drill the holes.
Any suggestions on where i can get something for my dam? Walmart maybe?
