Anybody Have a Nem?

I've got 3. This is an old picture of mine. It's cloned once since then, but the size and color are about the same. I'd sell the one that's pictured for $50. I have two smaller ones in my frag tank that I'd sell for $40. The one that's pictured is on the glass at the moment, but could move at any time.

I have a variety (10-12) mini maxis for sale. Ranging from 2" to 5-6" . Purple, pink, red, black, baby blue, dark blue, Xmas mix(red+green) if your interested let me know I can send you pics. Priced from $30-40 each.

They one in the picture is 3-4" across depending on how much it decided to inflate. The ones in my frag tank are 2-3. I don't target feed my RBTA's. My strategy has always been, if they bubble up and aren't wandering all over other corals, I leave them be.

My experience is that the clones of this one tend to be very stationary and tend to clone infrequently. That was also the experience of the person that I got the original from a few years ago.

Anybody who has a hosting anemone, I'm still looking. Sorry about the CL-type thread, but unfortunately for us, this is how people get into the hobby.

Hosting is up to the clowns. Some types are more likely to host certain types of nems. I had a maroon clown that hosted in my RBTA's. It got super aggressive and territorial about it. I sold that clown and got a pair of black clowns and they spend time in a ton of corals, but have no interest in the nems.

I just want them to have the opportunity to be hosted in a nem if they want to. An man am I ****ed you sold yours. I was literally just going to pm you when you posted they were sold.

I was surprised that they went so quickly. They pop up here and there.

Try to stay with anemone's from the pacific. Ones from the atlantic tend to be a bit bigger and have a heavier sting, making them more dangerous for neighboring corals and unnatural and less likely hosts for clowns. I had a condylactis that a maroon clown hosted in, but it was enormous and had a really powerful sting.
