Saw some when snorkeling even a baby yellow one. Really loved the fish. I will probably never have a tank big enough so was just curious if anyone had them. I don't think they are very popular in the hobby?
Did you have them from Juvenile state? I didn't get a picture but one day of my vacation it was too rough to snorkel the reef so they took us to the gulf side near a little island with a lot of sea grass. I think an estuary? Anyway so a solo juvenile thought it was the coolest thing.
Good to see some experiences maybe one day I will get there.
Animagus cool specimen
Pinnatus- I was born in BR. Love your tangs in the pic
Saw a school of them snorkeling on a coral reef in the fla keys. Stunning fish, especially when they school up.

Excellent fish. I still think powder blue is better!

Ive seen purple zebrasoma, and powder blue tangs on this thread, but no atlantic blue tangs besides the ones of the large schools.
