Anybody have experience with Current USA 250w 14K bulb?

I wanted to know if anyone has used these bulbs and what your experience with it was. Likes and dislikes? Im basically buying a new bulb for 60.00 from a local contact and wanted to know if it was worth it. I saw that on Marine Depot they sell for 60.00 plus shipping.

Phenox 14k for the win if you want the best color and growth out of a 250w double ended bulb.

I wouldn't waste my money on a current bulb that is the same price as the better bulbs.

i wouldn't i have seen several post about people upgrading the current bulbs specially the 10k which are not crisp white too yellow. I 2nd Pheonix.

i went through the huge depate on 250 de...ended up with phoenix 14k. i love em, but still want actinics also! but i like it blue!!!

p.s. the phoenix's are $60 a piece plus shipping...i think it was like 128 shipped or something for 2...check them out!

I run a 150 watt phoenix on my 20 gallon and its a very nice bulb. Way better than the stock bulb that came with my sunpod.
