Anybody have pistol shrimp bother non-symbiotic fish?

I have a blue legged carribean pistol that attacks anything in his territory (the entire bottom of the tank and behind the rock work). I had to move my goby. He even "pops" new corals that I put on the sandbed.

I 2 of the same type of shrimp. One lives with 2 YWG, the other was so voilent i gave him his own tank because he attacked sexy shrimp, crabs, fish you name it. Don't know why the other one is so well behaved in comparison

It's 3 on the blue leg now. Just him and an Ocellaris in my NC6. The clown tries smacking the shrimp with his tail and the shrimp lunges out to the clown from his hole.

i have a candy cane pistol shrimp and he never bother's anything hes really small though not even an inch long.

I have a tiger pistol shrimp with a randall goby and he doesn't seem to bother anything, but I have a "native"(to Panama City Beach) who is red with a blue claw who snaps all the time and is very timid. (and fast). I've lost two anemone shrimps and have been wondering if he might be the culprit, though the rusty gobies aren't bothered by him.

What do your pistol shrimp eat? I've never fed him seperately from my fish. He just eats uneaten fish food, fish poo, and scrapes crud off the liverock. I'm afraid of adding a small fish or any corals to the tank for fear she might eat them.

My tiger pistol was a model citizen until recently. I added a beautiful dottyback to the display and, to my horror, heard multiple LOUD clicks when the dotty dove into the rockwork for cover. I found the body in the morning. Poor little dotty only wanted to hide, but he chose the wrong cave and the pistol did what pistols do -- defended himself and his goby from what he perceived as an intruder and possible predator.

cherubfish pair - my pistol loves algae, especially the leftover piece of nori I remove from the clip each morning. He'll also take pellets, flakes, meaty foods, whatever happens to drift his way. He's constructed his cave so that the current pushes food into the entrance -- it's no accident; every time I add a coral or move a rock, he readjusts things as necessary so there's a constant current funneling goodies his way :D
