I'm looking to buy or trade for some cymopolia barbata. For something that's supposed to be incredibly common in its native area, I've been unable to round up any in mine (southern California). Anybody out there culturing this or know who sells it? Thanks in advance for any help on this. . .

Chuck, I have been thinking the same thing. FWIW, it must be difficult to grow. I guess it needs strong light, a bit of nitrates, NO phosphates, and lots of calcium. Have you seen this algae growing in the wild before? What was the water flow like?
