anybody notice how busy LPS forum is of late?

I love it. This has been a great forum and it seems to be very busy lately. Two weeks ago there was only a couple posts a day. Now there is 18. Just wanted to make a observation. Thanks to everyone for all their help over the last couple months.

It sees that mainly the rise and rise of blatos and acans is getting people excited, alot of folks used to see lps as washed out bubble coral, brown hammers open brains etc, dont get me wrong all great and enjoyable to kept but not a patch on some of the frags turning up nowdays

give it some time, its cyclical. i just wish these fade chasers would stop driving up the prices of the corals.

I have only been in the hobby for a year and I have gotten a lot of help in here. As a matter of fact I have a thread going now for my open brain. The advice so far that I received seems to be working.

Yeah it is good to know that people have finally realized that LPS are the best corals. It only took acans and blastos to do it, but there will be even more people joining in am sure with micromussa and denro's on the rise.

Because of the electricity went up in price and that everyone switch to lower light, mainly T-5 maybe?

For me like both colorful lps and colorfull sps . I have tons in my sps/lps tank .

this forum has changed tremendously just since ive been on rc. at first it was sort of slow, then out of no where it flouded with all kinds of cool people when acans started popping up. tons of great pieces, pics, and conversations. then it suddenly dropped off and alot of those people were banned for one reason or another. now its slowly building its way back up.
prices do bother me with the fade corals. but im always happy to see new faces and see people getting into the hobby. be it because you saw someones tank or because of the acan craze, its a life long addiction lol.
i just wish we could get back to seeing some more advanced cutting edge threads along with the basics.
