Anybody use pickling lime iso kalk?

Received my case of Mrs. Wages last week will start using on my next monthly cleaning of the kalk reactor.

You can also find it at feed and grain stores, like Agway. This is the time of year that they would be carrying it.

I buy pickling lime, remove the labels, and write "KALK" on the bottle. Then I sell it on ebay for ten times what I paid, to unsuspecting reefers who have absolutely no clue that kalk is the German word for lime. Act now, supplies are limited!!

How about ice melt for ca. A really nice way to add ca at a low cost about $10 for a 25 lb bag at home depot. I have been doing that for about a year.

Are there any Mg Cl ice melt users for magnesium plus.

IMO/IME.... for a gravity drip system where the bottom of the container is never dosed into the sytem... the wages is fine... but in a nilsen where everything is subject to going into the system, I only use ESV kalk
