Anybody used this Maxi-Jet MOD?

Works with Maxi-Jet 400, 600, 900 & 1200. Produces 1600gph

Yep works with them all, and IMO they work great. I love mine.

they work very good. i had one on a mj600 that i tried on my 60g (18x36") and it created too much flow. it was like a blender in there. sand was flying all over the place.

dang, I was going to use one in my 50g because a Koralia 1 ain't gonna cut it. Back to the drawing board....

I used them on 900's with a wave maker for over 4 months with no issues yet.

Have two of them on 1200s on a wave maker in a 36" sps tank. Really like the flow. Each on magnets on the sidewalls. They work on all MJ sizes and I haven't had any problems with them with my wave maker.

I run 2 of them on a 24" cube also, and love the flow they generate. Do yourself a favor and get the magnets to hold them. I made the micstake of not using them in the begining, lets just say, no one like a sand storn........

i dont know how you do that. mine was tearing coral tissue on corals on the opposite side of the tank!

The tank is 24 X 24 X 26T I have them up at the top and its a SPS tank. All my corals love the flow!!
