I usually don't have gorgonia, I feel they are too difficult with a sps system. I have built a ULNS now, so I decided to save a yellow gorgonia (Diodogorgia nodulifera) from the store, and put it in better conditions. Well, it did great for a few days, and then started to shed. It has been shedding for about a week now. I blast my tank with current, I really don't feel that is an issue, I can see the gorgonia sway violently in the torrent using a wave maker.
What I want to know is should I gently brush the gorgonia, or should I let it shed on its own accord? I don't want to harm it, but I want it to survive.
