its true my entire back up system a 4x4 frag tank and QT are now lit with RB's.
stuff look amazing under them and better than some of their counterparts in the main even. i still cant really believe what i am seeing sometimes but the results are undeniable. Rb's a great light.
the reefled fixture that Bill made me crashed and burned and all the radions are long gone. no comparison performance wise to the RB's. Definitely not just being nice or shilling for logan here. LOL Not experimenting anymore either i am completely sold! I believe it's the warm/neutrals. I actually bought 2 24" photons for my display to replace the radions but ended up needing them over the prop system in a pinch. Thats why i threw the halide back over the displaythe radions had to go either way.
everything I have under RB's look incredible. If they made wider fixtures i'd already have replaced the t5s over my main i am just struggling on how to adequately light them with the standard fixtures. including QT, I am running 9 total
I've been tempted to give one a shot over my frag tank since seeing your photon... What changes are you seeing over the display color wise since making the switch from Radions?

well it was like saying hi to an old friend when i fired them back up. no matter ho much i tweaked the radions I could not get them to do or look like the radium on an m-80. I was instantly reminded of this once the radium kicked on.
The sps did well under the radions, they just did not thrive by comparison. The tank has literally taken off since the switch back. Color is a bit more "normal" as well as in not struggling like they seemed to be. and to be fair i gave the radions all the chance in the world. I wanted to be the guy with the tank full of mature colonies running radions, but when i saw how much better my sps looked under the RB's i could not justify keeping them.

so far so good I am loving the Photon 48! I am still ramping up power and using the excel spreadsheet thats on the reefbreeders website. I have stopped my whites at 30% and have my Blues up to 51% I think it is. Still going up 10% a week on Blues but think I am going to leave the whites at 30% for now might raise them a little once I get the blues to 80% and see how everything reacts. BUt so far so good!
I love my rb photon over my 120 although I have 4 48 t5s with them. It seemed to get rid of some of the shadows but I think some of that has to do with me having the rb about 12" above the water line. Also max intensity is 85 blue 45 white for a couple of hours other wise they ramp up and down.

Sorry, just saw this reply! Had them for ~1 year. I actually just added two T5 bulbs to supplement the LEDs (coverage, spectrum, etc.). I will get an updated pic as soon as I can and post it.
