i was calling around to find places that sell live brine and they were the first ones that i found.. just wondering if anyone has been there and purchesed fish/corals? were they decent priced? nice staff? any info would be great before i drive out there.. thanks!

that place is VERY overpriced! The only thing they seem to have a good price on is their tanks. They do have a fair selection of other things. They usually have 1 marine sales person on staff that has a clue. That will be the super busy person that you can't get near.

Their once per year sale has some very good deals if you catch it.

10 mins west of Strongsville on route 82 is Aquatic Technology. They are pretty good if you don't mind the messy store! They are marine ONLY.

I have to agree, Go with RMS or Aquatic Technology out on Columbia, the store looks like a bomb hit it, but it is probably the best one on the west side. And they are more than happy to order whatever you need and have it drop shipped directly to your house.
I will shop at Aquarium Adventure only for extreme emergencies from now on. They have a huge sign out front (literally like 3'x5')saying they price match, even to internet (you have to add shipping to it) I even double checked with one of the employees the day before I brought the ad in. They refused to match. So they saved $20 that day and lost a future new tank sale....I even had their membership.

Still better than Petco......where the pets go....to die

Oh, and if you're ever up for a nice drive Salty Critter out in Vermillion is really really nice....super worth the drive.

does RMS have a website i can't seem to find it if it does.. maybe ill go check them out next weekend.. i went to Aquatic Tec. the other day.. wasn't really that impressed, i mean they had alot of fish but they didn't really have anything that i was looking for and talk about a mess!! i do drive down to S.C. every couple of weeks or so..

Has anyone been to Aquarium Adventure in the last few days?

Is that really a clarkii clown they have along the back near the corals? It doesn't really look like one. It's deeper orange, two bands, with a lyretail. Any guesses?

I just realized my signature is 2 tanks old..

I live 3 minutes from Aquarium adventure and have unfortunately been going there off and on for several years. THAT PLACE IS A JOKE. His prices on fish/corals just keep getting higher and higher! The only time to shop there is during tier big sale, then the fish prices are like everyone else's. What a sale. Their corals are always dying (due to lack of light one of the employees tells me) and no matter how small and lame or dying they are always the same high price. They say they have a fish guarantee but just make sure that you don't bring it back, if you know what I mean. They do have a few good SW employees who know their stuff though, good to pika their brains. They had a large hippo tang in there last week for $179 or something-no joke. I still go in here and there to look for new ideas and very locational deals, but mostly to talk with a couple of cool and knowledgeable employees I've gotten to know. The Owners are brothers are not the most friendly in the world, but both are very in the know and they can find you any kind of tank/stand you want in the world. If you sign up for their "fish club" and get on their mailing list, they will send you a heads up when they have a big sale and then it is sometimes worthwhile. Just make sure u get there on the 1st day of the sale or no fishier.

You'llove this one too...green chromis for $20...each! When I asked Tom (owner why they were so high he told me that his fish were hand caught and you get what you pay for. Wow. Oh well, it was a big *** chromis.
